Flight Control Software Development Services – Framework Agreement For The Operational Drone Capacity For Port Of Antwerp-Bruges. In Recent Years, Port Of Antwerp-Bruges (Poab) Has Used An Operational Drone-As-A-Service (Daas) Network To Support Various Operational Processes In The Port Area. The Current Agreement For This Drone Network Is Expiring, Which Means That Poab Is Looking For A New Partner That Can Supply Daas And Carry Out Drone Innovation Projects On A Project Basis. The Daas Assignment Includes Two Components: On The One Hand, Drone Flight Services, In Which The Contractor Is Responsible For The Entire Flight Operation By Certified Pilots, Including Mission Support And Data Acquisition, And On The Other Hand, Drone Hardware-As-A-Service, In Which Drone Platforms And Sensors Are Made Available For Use By The Contractors Pilots, Including Maintenance And Technical Support. Both Components Will Be Purchased Together Depending On Operational Needs. This Modular Approach Offers The Client Maximum Flexibility With Regard To The Services And Hardware/Software Facilities That Can Evolve With Regard To Technological Developments. This Daas Assignment Combines One Integrated Service, In Which Automated Drones Are Used To Support Various Operational Applications Within The Port Platforms Of Antwerp And Zeebrugge. In Addition To The Daas, Poab Also Wants To Be Able To Explore And Validate Innovative Drone Technologies And New Use Cases Within The Term Of The Agreement.
