Civil Underground Construction Services - Distribution . Bc Hydro Is Seeking Qualified Suppliers To Provide Civil Underground Construction Services Across Multiple Sub‑Regions In British Columbia. The Work Includes Trenching, Duct Bank Installation, Vault And Precast Placement, Backfilling, Restoration, Traffic Control, And Associated Civil Activities Supporting Bc Hydro’S Underground Electrical Infrastructure. Services Will Include Planned Work, Planned Nighttime/Weekend Work, And Time‑Sensitive/Trouble Work, Delivered Year‑Round On An As‑Needed Basis. Work Will Be Performed Across Bc Regions And Sub‑Regions As Defined In The Rfp, With Muster Points Identified For Each Location. Successful Suppliers May Also Participate In Secondary Sourcing For Project Work Valued At Approximately $50M Annually. Key Milestones Include: Market Information Session (Mar 20, 2026), Interviews (Jun 5, 2026), Stage 2 Notifications (Jun 8, 2026), Preferred Proponent Identification (Jan 20, 2027), And Anticipated Msa Award (Mar 1, 2027). Closing Time: 11:00 Am Pt, May 19, 2026.Attendance At Any Mandatory Informational Meetings (If Designated) Is Required. An Nda May Be Required For Access To Confidential Or Proprietary Rfp Documents. Suppliers Must Complete Alcumus Safecontractor Safety Pre‑Qualification And Comply With Bc Hydro’S Safety, Environmental, And Reporting Standard. The Contract Is Expected To Be For An Initial Term Of(3)Years, Which May Be Extended For Up To(7)Year(S)Through One Or More Contract Extensions, For A Potential Total Term Of(10)Years.
