The Exact Scope Of Services Can Only Be Found In The Tender Documents, In Particular The Service Description And Appendices (Appendices D1 To D4) As Well As The Draft Contract (Appendices E1 And E2) For The Acceptance Of Goods, Storage And Issue Of Goods For Deliveries To The Branches Of The Goethe-Institut Abroad (Gia). Responsible, Independent And Proactive Organization Of The Entire Logistics Process From Receipt Of Goods To Handover To A Transport Company Selected By The Goethe Headquarters, Including Documentation And Communication With All Those Involved As Well As All Logistics-Related Communication With Suppliers And The Goethe-Institut At Home And Abroad. It Mainly Handles Goods From The Areas Of Printing/Paper, Media, Electronics, Furniture And Office Supplies That Are Necessary For The Operation Of The Goethe Institute (Gia) Abroad. The Gia Mainly Orders From Suppliers In Germany, Occasionally From Suppliers Within The Eu Or Switzerland. Not All Suppliers Have Foreign Trade Experience; There Is A Need For More Advice. The Gia Employees Have Basic Knowledge Of Logistics, But There Are No Specialized Personnel In The Gias. There Is Also A Need For Extensive Advice In This Area. You Usually Do Not Receive Any Information About Expected Goods Receipts. In Rare Cases Or For Larger Furniture Deliveries, Suppliers Notify The Delivery. The Delivered Shipments Are Stored Until The Respective Gia Releases Them For Shipment. Storage Times Of Several Weeks Can Occur. (The Gia Receives An Inventory Report From The Service Provider (=You) Every Tuesday At 5:00 P.M. The Gia Can Issue Your Shipping Releases On This Basis By Wednesday At 12:00 P.M., Also For Partial Quantities Or Splitting According To Type Of Goods, Of The Respective Stock. No Goods May Leave The Warehouse Without A Written Shipping Release From The Goethe-Institut. The Service Provider (=You) Assigns The Shipping Releases To A Suitable Mode Of Transport And Provides Them To The Providers Price Inquiry Lists Are Available For Air Freight And Truck Freight Until Wednesday At 12:15 P.M. Loading Is Carried Out By Air Freight, Sea Freight, Truck, The Foreign Office Courier Service Or With Cep Services. The Service Provider Provides The Supplier Documents (Pro Forma Invoices, Export Accompanying Documents, Proof Of Preference) For The Air, Sea, Truck And Kep Modes Of Transport For Exports To Third Countries Service Provider A Suitable Online Portal For Exchanging Documents With The Freight Forwarders Or Freight Carriers. Transport To The Gia Is Not Part Of The Service. The Transport Is Assigned By The Gi Headquarters On The Basis Of The Weekly Tender For Air And Truck Transport. The Contractual Partner Of The Goethe Institute Is Used By The Gi Headquarters
