The Measurements Are Carried Out Both With A Measuring Vehicle And Via A Manual Measurement. The Presence Of An (Unnoticed) Rail Defect Can Lead To Dangerous Situations And Even Incidents Such As Derailments. Data And Information About Rails Is Therefore Necessary To Guarantee The Safe Use Of The Railway In The Netherlands.
