This Contract Is For Burning Slash Piles That Were Generated From Wildfire Rehabilitation Activities On The 2024 Howser Ridge Fire (Fire # 24N71144). There Are 171 Piles That Are Distributed Along Approximately 30Km Of Road And Machine Guard. 9 Piles Are Accessible By Truck Or Atv And The Remainder Are Accessible By Foot. Snowmobile Access May Be Possible In The Winter But The Contractor Will Need To Assess And Determine This Themselves. The Piles Vary In Size From 3X3x3m To 11X6x7m (Length X Width X Height). The Contractor Must Burn 90% Of The Piles (154 Piles). This Allows For 17 Skipped Piles. The Skipped Piles Must Be Evenly Distributed Throughout The Project. Fire Mitigation Supplies Must Be On Site.
