The Object Of The Contract Is The Supply Of Materials For The Upgrade Of The Playing Field And The Infrastructure Of The Union Stadium Of Thermis Lesvos. This Contract Is Divided Into Two (2) Sections As Follows: Section 1(A): Supply-Installation Of Synthetic Lawn, Irrigation Materials, Prefabricated Houses And Tractor, Estimated Value €532,720.00 Plus 24% Vat - Cpv:39293400-6, 43323000-3, 44211000-2, 16700000-2. Section 2(B) : Supply-Installation Of Metal Railways With Roof And Lighting Materials, Estimated Value €667,280.00 Plus Vat 24% - Cpv: 37450000-7, 34946240-4, 44423220-9, 31518100-1, 31211000-8, 31320000-5, 31600000-2, 44212250-6. The Criterion For The Above Sub-Division Of The Contract Was, On The One Hand, The Needs Of The Contracting Authority To Ensure The Immediate Operation Of The Sports Facility, So That After The Installation Of The Turf And The Changing Rooms, The Local Clubs And Academies Could Be Served At The Training Level. The Individual Elements Of The Procurement Of Department A Are Functionally Connected To Each Other And Contribute To The Possibility Of Integrated Use Of The Sports Facility. And On The Other Hand, The Execution Of The Installation Works Of The Materials To Be Procured Which Are Included In Section B, Concern Infrastructures That Have To Do With The Functionality For Official Matches In Terms Of The Hours Of Use Of The Stadium And The Presence Of Fans, With The Result That It Constitutes A Distinct Part Of The Contract, Which Can Be Performed In Total By A Different Contractor. Therefore, The Sub-Division Of The Contract Into The Two Specific Sections Serves Contract Management Reasons, Related To The Necessity Of Successfully Combining The Work Of Placing The Items Under Procurement, Given The Close Connection And Interaction Between Them, Which Requires Overall Planning. In This Way, The Most Effective Organization Of The Installation Work Is Sought With The Most Appropriate Use Of The Available Resources By Each Contractor, In Order To Avoid Any Delays In The Implementation Of The Contract. In Addition, Dealing With Each Department Separately Enables The Supervisory Agency To Better Monitor The Implementation Of The Contract In Question. Therefore, For Reasons Related To The Completeness Of The Supply And The Completeness Of The Planned Installation Works, It Is Necessary To Perform The Contract According To The Specific Types And Works Specified By The Above Sections.
