Liander Logistics Is Responsible For Ensuring That Materials Are Available On The Right Day, Time And Location, So That The Primary Tasks Such As Construction, Maintenance And Management Of The Energy Network Can Be Carried Out. Safety, Sustainability And Efficiency Of Processes Are The Most Important Frameworks For Excellent Execution Of Logistics Processes And Transport. From The Central Distribution Center (Cdc) In Apeldoorn And 3 Cable Hubs (Storage Locations For Cable Reels In Apeldoorn Woudhuis, Marknesse And The Amsterdam Area), Liander Logistiek Manages The Entire Downstream Supply Chain. Transport Is Divided Into Two Main Categories: Distribution Transport And Crane Transport. Distribution Transport (1 Parcel) Distribution Transport Concerns The Transport Of Smaller Materials, Usually Packed On Pallets, But Also Sometimes Material In Different Sizes That Do Not Fit On A Pallet. Crane Transport (2 Lots) Crane Transport Focuses On The Transport Of Large And/Or Heavy Material That Must Be Loaded And Unloaded Using A Truck-Mounted Crane. In Addition To Regular Transport, Crane Transport Also Includes Station Work. This Concerns The Transport Of Specific Materials (E.G. Transformers) That Must Be Placed In Medium-Voltage Areas (Transformer Houses), Where Additional Logistical Support Is Required; (E.G. Use Of A Heavier Crane And/Or Other Equipment To Place The Materials) To Carry Out The Job Is Required. In Addition To Execution, These Jobs Also Require A Preliminary Inspection Of The Job Location, Planning The Job With Lianders Project Managers, Work Preparation And Coordination With Executing Parties On Location.
