The Scope Of The Order Includes: 1) Running And Maintaining A Shelter For Homeless Animals At Ul. Włodawska 23A In Chełm, Including Kennels And Boxes For Dogs And Boxes For Cats In Accordance With Applicable Regulations; 2) Administration Of Shelter Facilities For Homeless Animals At Ul. Włodawska 23A In Chełm, Including The Ongoing Payment Of Water And Electricity Fees, As Well As Other Fees Resulting From Running The Shelter;3) Ongoing Maintenance Of Cleanliness And Order In The Premises Of The Shelter For Homeless Animals In Accordance With Sanitary Requirements;4) Ongoing Maintenance Of Cleanliness And Order In The Vicinity Of The Shelter For Homeless Animals (I.E. In The Adjacent Area And On The Access Road), Including Snow Removal And Sprinkling With Roughening Materials In The Winter;5) Maintaining The Shelter Facilities In Good Condition Technical By: A) Ensuring The Proper Functioning Of Sanitary, Water And Electrical Equipment, B) Carrying Out Ongoing Maintenance, As Well As Minor Maintenance Repairs As Needed, After Prior Consultation With The Ordering Party; 6) Accepting Animals That Are Lost, Abandoned Or For Other Reasons Homeless From The Area Of The City Of Chełm And The Areas Of The Communes With Which The City Of Chełm Has Entered Into Appropriate Agreements; 7) Keeping Records Of Animals Staying In A Shelter For Homeless Animals, Taking Into Account The Information Specified In The Detailed Requirements Veterinary;8) Ensuring Humane Care For Animals, Including Constant Access To Water And Protection Against Weather Conditions, As Well As Compliance With Nutritional Standards;9) Ensuring Comprehensive Veterinary Care Through Constant Veterinary Supervision, Conducting A 15-Day Quarantine For Newly Admitted Animals, As Well As Carrying Out Mandatory Vaccinations, Castration And Sterilization Procedures, Prevention And Treatment;10) Marking Animals Within 7 Days From The End Of The Quarantine And Registering Them With A Photograph For The Purposes Of Enabling Unambiguous Identification;11) Catching Dogs That Have Run Away, Gone Astray Or Have Been Abandoned And It Is Not Possible To Identify Their Owner Or Guardian;12) Catching Other Animals That Are Unable To Continue To Live Independently And Should Be Euthanized Or Kept In A Shelter For Homeless Animals For The Period Of Convalescence;13) Immediately Transport The Caught Animals To The Veterinary Clinic For Animals That Have Bitten People Or Their Behavior Indicates Rabies Infection (The Veterinarian Decides On Further Treatment Of These Animals);14) Immediate Transport Of The Caught Animals Referred To In Section 2 Points 12-13, To The Shelter For Homeless Animals At Ul. Włodawska 23A In Chełm;15) Ensuring Telephone Contact With Interested Parties During The Shelters Opening Hours;16) Promoting Adoption In The Media And Promoting Activities Aimed At Preventing Animal Reproduction;17) Giving Animals For Adoption Free Of Charge To Interested Persons.
