The Aim Of The Assignment Is To Renew The Balance Structures Of Both North Castle Bridges (Both The Eastern And Western Bridges). Renewing The Noordkasteel Bridge Balances Is A Necessary Intervention To Continue To Guarantee The Initially Expected Lifespan Of The Bridges. In Order Of Magnitude, The Scope Includes - Renew Balance Arms And Boxes (+ Filling) With New Welded Balances In Truss - Renew Tie Rods - Repair Anchorages A-Hinges - Replace Main Pivot Points East Bridge (A+B+C+D Bearings) Cfr Current Configuration - Optimize All Bearings East And West Bridge - All Necessary Disassembly And Assembly Work With The Existing Flights, Seat, Rack Beams, Drive And Electrical Installations As A Prerequisite To Keep. Important: We Already Indicate At This Stage That For This Assignment The Steel Producer Will Be Required To Have Proof Of A Valid En-Iso 9001 Certified Quality System, Issued By A Certification Body Recognized By A National Accreditation Body (Minimum Specifications). The Certification Will Be Requested For Each Steel Supplier Or Producer Who Will Supply Steel Within This Work. It Will Therefore Not Be Sufficient To Add An Iso9001 Certificate From The Main Contractor. It Is Important That The Steel Manufacturer Works According To Iso 9001, Which Means That They Must Meet A Certain Quality Standard For The Production And Traceability Of The Steel.
