Traffic-Signal Maintenance Services – Traffic Light Maintenance Contract In The Turku City Area For The Period (Target) 1 June 2026-31 May 2031. The City Of Turkus Urban Construction And Facilities Service Complex With Its Partner Fintraffic Tie Oy Are Requesting Bids For The Contract For The Maintenance Of The Traffic Light System In The City Of Turku. Täsmennys (Definition Of Urban Environment): A Built-Up Urban Area With Pedestrian And Bicycle Traffic, Public Transport (Buses) And A Significant Flow Of Vehicle Traffic. Motorways Or Rural Road Sections Do Not, In Principle, Meet The Requirement Without The Above-Mentioned Features. The Definition Applies To All Requirements Where Experience In An Urban Environment Is Required. Finntraffic Oy Is Involved In The Procurement Of The City Of Turku. Finntraffic Oy Authorized The City Of Turku To Tender The Purchase And Make The Purchase Decision. The Traffic Light Maintenance Contract Is Fixed-Term From June 1, 2026 To May 31, 2029 (3 Years), After Which It Continues For Two Years On A Fixed-Term Basis, Subject To A Mutual Notice Period Of Six (6) Months. The Entire Contract Period Is Therefore A Maximum Of Five (5) Years, Ending On 31 May 2031 At The Latest. Termination Must Be Done In Writing At Least Nine (9) Months Before The End Of The Contract. The Termination Notice Must State When The Contract Ends Due To The Termination. However, The Agreement Will End Without Requiring Termination On 31 May 2031 At The Latest. In The Following, The Service Is Also Referred To As The Contractor, And The Service Provider Is Also Referred To As The Contractor. The Traffic Light Maintenance Contract Is A Total Price Service Procurement, Which Includes Total Price Based Works As Well As Unit Price Based Works Based On A Separate Order From The Customer. The Anticipated Total Value Of The Acquisition Excluding Value Added Tax For The Entire Five-Year Contract Period Is Approximately 7,000,000 Euros. A Contract For Procurement Is Made With One (1) Service Provider. Turku Citys Urban Construction And Facilities Service Complex With Its Partner Fintraffic Tie Oy Are Looking For A Service Provider For The Maintenance Of Traffic Lights, Who Manages The Maintenance Of The Entire Traffic Light System, Performs The Maintenance Of The Central Control System And The Use, Care, Maintenance And Maintenance Of Traffic Light Crossings In Accordance With The Tender Documents And Adheres To The Set Quality Goals. Good And Functional Cooperation With Other Service Providers Is Paramount, As Is Thoughtfulness And Kindness Towards Our Customers.
