Architectural Services For Outdoor Areas – Redesign Of The Vfl Nürnberg Sports Facility - Object Outdoor Facilities Lph 1-9. The Subject Of The Commission Is The Development Of An Overall Open Space Planning Concept For The Vfl Site, Taking Into Account The Existing And Future Planned Sporting Uses As Well As Possible Optimization Of The Results Of An Existing Building Mass Study With Regard To A Third Playing Field. The Existing Site Includes An Artificial Turf Field B, A Large Playing Field A And Several Volleyball Fields. Due To Its Current Period Of Use, The Existing Artificial Turf Pitch Can No Longer Be Used Permanently And Should Be Renovated. The Aim Is To Carry Out The Renovation At The Existing Location, If Possible, In Order To Be Able To Preserve And Continue To Use Parts Of The Existing Substructure. As Part Of The Reorganization Of The Sports Area, A New Large Playing Field A With A Surrounding Type C Fighting Track With 2 Additional Individual Short Running Tracks Is Also To Be Provided. The Two All-Weather Pitches Required For School Purposes - Each With A Basketball Court And Two Volleyball Courts - Must Be Integrated Into The Segments Of The Circular Track. In Addition, A Long Jump And Triple Jump Facility With A Corresponding Sand Pit, Take-Off Board And Run-Up Marker Should Be Located There. In Addition, The Existing Volleyball Areas Must Be Included In The Overall Planning. In The Future, Three Outdoor Volleyball Courts, Two Of Which Are For School Sports, Will Be Equipped With Impact Segments As Combined Shot Put/Beach Volleyball Fields, Rearranged And Functionally Integrated Into The Overall Concept. The Large Playing Field With Running Track Is Intended In Particular For School Use By The Adjacent Breslauer Straße School Center In Nuremberg And Must Be Planned And Completely Rebuilt To Be Functional, Safe And School-Compliant. The Existing, Outdated Short-Running Track, Which Is Located Parallel To The Existing Artificial Turf Field, Is To Be Dismantled. The Planning Concept Must Be Supplemented By The Examination Of An Additional Standard Playing Field (Type B Or C) Spatially Adjacent To The Existing Artificial Turf Pitch. The Structural Suitability And Integration Of The Area Of The Existing Rain Retention Basin Can Be Explicitly Analyzed As A Location Option. The Rain Retention Basin Does Not Represent A Biotope Area And Can Be Functionally Relocated To An Underground Cistern With An Overflow For Heavy Rain Events. The Location Of The Cistern Must Be Integrated Functionally And Without Conflict During The Planning Process. Another Essential Part Of The Task Is The Location Of The New Construction Of A Two- Or One-Story Changing And Sanitary Building With Storage And Equipment Rooms. As Part Of The Planning Of The Outdoor Facilities, The Different Existing Footprint Variants For The Changing Building And Their Location Must Be Weighed Up. The Task Of Outdoor Facility Planning Is To Present These Variants From A Functional, Spatial, Operational And Economic Perspective And To Understand Their Respective Advantages And Disadvantages
