Research And Development Services And Related Consultancy Services – Advice And Support For The Bmwsb In The Preparation Of The Climate Protection Report And Projection Report In 2026 And 2027. In Accordance With Section 5A Of The Climate Protection Act (Ksg 2024), Which Was Amended In 2024, The Federal Environment Agency Produces Ghg Projection Data Annually For All Sectors. Based On The Available Ghg Emissions Data, The Projection Data Shows The Emission Developments In All Years Up To 2030 As Well As For The Years 2035, 2040 And 2045. Due To Its Responsibility For The Building Sector, The Bmwsb Is Involved In The Process Of Creating The Projection Data. As Part Of This Project, The Bmwsb Is To Receive Scientific Support And Advice Until The End Of 2027. This Includes, Among Other Things, The Following Activities: • Coordination And Demonstration Of The Effects On The Building Sector Of Possible Calculation Boundary Conditions For The Creation Of The Projection Data (E.G. Approaches To Climate Adjustment, Price Data, Data On Construction Activity And Population Development, Etc.) • (Short-Term) Participation In Discussions • Development And Impact Assessment Of Climate Protection Measures • Development Of An Accounting Methodology For Estimating The Ghg Reduction Effect Of Cross-Sector Climate Protection Measures In The Field Of Action Building. In Particular, The Distribution Of The Climate Protection Effect Of The Bmwsb New Building Funding Across The Industrial, Energy And Building Sectors. According To Section 10 Ksg, A Climate Protection Report Must Still Be Prepared Annually, Which, Among Other Things, Deals With The Development Of Ghg Emissions And The Status Of The Implementation Of The Climate Protection Programs (According To Section 9 Ksg). Analogous To The Projection Data, The Project Will Provide Ongoing Scientific Support For The Bmwsb Process Until The End Of 2027. This Includes, For Example: • (Short-Term) Viewing And, If Necessary, Commenting On Parts And Drafts Of Reports With Regard To Connections To The Building Sector And Points Of Contact With The Bmwsb In General • (Short-Term) Participation In Discussion Groups • Development Of Text Modules As Bmwsbs Contribution To The Climate Protection Report. These May Require Coordination With Individual Specialist Departments Of The Bmwsb And Bbsr. The Subject Of The Project Is Also Ad Hoc Advice To The Bmwsb Regarding European Or International Reporting As Far As The Building Sector In Germany Is Concerned And The Determination Of An Accounting Methodology For Cross-Sector Ghg Reduction Measures. The Latter Should Focus On Funding For Bmwsb New Buildings.
