Expression of Interest for Development and Delivery of Workshops for Local Communities to Promote Sustainable Tourism. PROBLUE is a Multi-Donor Trust Fund, housed at the World Bank, that supports the development of integrated, sustainable and healthy marine and coastal resources. PROBLUE contributes to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG 14) and is fully aligned with the World Banks vision to create a world free of poverty on a livable planet. With resources from the PROBLUE Trust Fund, the Social Protection and the Environment units are jointly supporting Bank-executed technical assistance activities for fostering capacity and knowledge for a sustainable blue economy in the Maldives under the Fostering Capacity and Knowledge for a Sustainable Blue Economy. The objective of the TA is to improve knowledge and capacity for a transition towards a sustainable and resilient blue economy. It has three components: 1 Knowledge and capacity for the implementation of Nature-based solutions 2 Labor market services for the sustainable blue transition 3 Sustainable Fisheries Master Plan Component 2 focuses on labor market services to aid the sustainable blue transition and will be implemented in partnership with the World Bank-financed Sustainable and Integrated Labor Services (SAILS) project. SAILS project, implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education, Labor and Skills Development (MOHELSD), aims to improve social protection coverage and employability of Maldivian workers. it supports employment services including the provision of training and job matching for youth and women for jobs in the blue and green economy.
