The Eü Südkanal Project Concerns The Renewal Of The Südkanal Railway Overpass On The S-Bahn Line 1244 Between Hamburg Main Station And Aumühle. The Eü Südkanal Is Located In The Hammerbrook District (Hamburg-Mitte District) And Spans The Südkanal, A Tide-Independent Canal In The Predominantly Commercial Area. The Structure Is Located At Kilometer 2,408 Between The Berliner Tor And Rothenburgsort Stops. The Route Is Double-Track And Is Served By The S2 S-Bahn Line. The New Structure Will Be Designed As A Steel Trough Bridge With An Orthotropic Roadway And A Continuous Standard Gravel Superstructure. It Leads Both Tracks Of S-Bahn Route 1244 Over The South Canal Without A Longitudinal Inclination, With A Span Of Approx. 52.5 M And A Total Length Of Approx. 54.3 M.
