Project: Tender21434 - Papakomeka Road Grading & Snowplowing 2026-2028 . The Objective Is To Have Efficient And Effective Grading And Snowplowing Of The First 43 Km Of Papakomeka Road For The Duration Of This Contract, In Accordance With The Identified Standards, Frequencies, And Schedules. Scope Of Work Grading (May 1 To November 30): The Work Will Involve The Supply Of A Motor Grader Complete With One-Way Plow And Wing, And Operators To Provide Twenty-Four (24) Hours Per Day, Seven (7) Days Per Week Coverage To The Ministry During The Snow-Free And Unfrozen Periods Of This Contract. This Work Involves Grading Full-Width Gravel Road Surfaces To Remove Or Improve Deficiencies, Including But Not Limited To The Following: Potholes, Distortions, Cuts And Gouges, Loose Rocks, Improper Cross Fall, And Windrows. Snowplowing (November 1 To March 31): The Work Will Involve The Supply Of A Motor Grader Complete With Either A V-Plow And Wing Or One-Way Plow And Wing, And Qualified Operators To Provide Twenty-Four (24) Hours Per Day, Seven (7) Days Per Week Coverage To The Ministry For The Snow-Covered Periods Of This Contract. This Work Involves Plowing Full-Width Road Surfaces In The Snow-Covered Months. The Contractor Shall Have Snowplowing And Ice Blading Equipment Available To Be Installed On The Motor Grader, Which May Be Used For Plowing Or Ice Blading At The Contract Unit Price.
