Civil Work-Installation Of New Electrical Service For100 Mile House Fire Station, At 1125 Exeter Mckinley Rd, 100 Mile House, 100 Mile House Fire Station, Bc V0k 2E1.Civil Work- Install All Bc Hydro Supplied Equipment For The New Electrical Service For The New Office Building Including The Pilaster, Junction Box, Transformer Base (Concrete Pad), Bollards And Counterpoise As Per Bc-Hydro Requirements, Drawing And Specifications.Site Restoration, Site Cleanup And Landscaping Including Curbs, Driveways, Parking Areas, Landscaping Features Including Plantings, Topsoil, Sod And Other Items Where Indicated On The Drawings And Specification. Project Schedule: The Anticipated Start Date For The Electrical Services Installation For The Facility Is April 15, 2026, Or Such Earlier Date As May Be Required Following Contract Award. The Contractor Shall Commence The Work Promptly Upon Contract Award And In Accordance With The Contract.The Anticipated Completion For The Electrical Installation Is June 15, 2026.Only An Approved Bc Hydro Civil Contractor Can Be Accepted For This Opportunity. The Contractor Shall Install All Bc Hydro Supplied Equipment For The New Electrical Service For The New Office Building Including The Pilaster, Junction Box, Transformer Base (Concrete Pad), Bollards And Counterpoise. Note That Bc Hydro Will Also Supply/Install The New Pole. Bc Hydro Approved Civil Contractor Will Trench From The Pole To The Pmt, Then From The Pmt To The Service Entrance Within The New Building. Bidder Must Consider All Associated Scope To Comply With Bc Hydro Requirementsproject Details Are Found In Bc Hydro’S Issued For Information Drawings And The Electrical Engineer Ift Drawing Package For The New Electrical Service To The New Building At The 100 Mile Fire Zone. Refer To Appendix I, Ii And Iii For Details.Bc Hydro’S Drawings For All Bc Hydro Owned Infrastructure Including Primary Ducts, Secondary Ducts And Transformer Etc. Shall Take Precedence Over The Electrical Engineer Supplied Issued For Tender Electrical Drawings For The New Building. Refer To Appendix I, Ii And Iii For Details.All Bc Hydro Related Works Shall Be Constructed In Accordance With The Relevant Bc Hydro Standards And Be Coordinated With Bc Hydro For All Inspections As Determined By Bc Hydro.The Site Is In A Low Traffic Area Fairly Free Of Bc Hydro Transmission Lines. Construction And Traffic Control Constraints Will Apply To The Electrical Service Installation. The Work Shall Include But Not Be Limited To:Coordination And Compliance With Bc Hydro Requirements For Working Below The Existing Bc Hydro Overhead High Voltage Transmission Lines At The Site.Site Preparation Required For Excavation Work. The Contractor Is Advised That Buried Conduits And Utilities Are Located At The Site And The Contractor Shall Be Responsible For Locating, Maintaining And Safeguarding All Existing Above Ground And Below Ground Utilities. Water Services Are Located In Proximity To The New Service.Supply And Installation Of The Bc Hydro Specified Primary And Secondary Electrical Ducts Where Indicated On The Drawings Including Trenching, Excavating, Backfilling, Ducts, Concrete Encasement, Pull Cords And Tie Ins To The Bc Hydro Installed Primary Ducts. Also Included Are All Liaison And Coordination With Bc Hydro For The Installation Of The Work.Earthworks And Gradingincluded In The Scope Is Offsite Disposal Of All Excavated Materials.Inspection Costs And Bc Hydro Approval Of The Work Is Included In The Scope.The Ministry Has Prepaid Bc Hydro For The Bc Hydro Supplied Equipment As Noted Above (E.G. Pad Mounted Transformer, Concrete Pad Etc ) And For Bc Hydro`S Installation Portion Of The Work (E.G. Primary/Secondary Cabling) As Described Above.Site Restoration, Site Cleanup And Landscaping Including Curbs, Driveways, Parking Areas, Landscaping Features Including Plantings, Topsoil, Sod And Other Items Where Indicated On The Drawings Are In Scope.For Detailed Requirement, Please Refer To The Specification (Appendix Iv), Drawings (Appendix I, Ii, Iii) And All The Other Documents Listed In The Bc Bid.
