Sealed Bids For The City Of Thomasvilles E-911/Ymca Regional Retention Pond Project Will Be Received Until 10:00 Am Local Time On April 2, 2026, At The City Engineer¿S Office, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, Ga 31792 For Public Opening. No Bids May Be Withdrawn After The Scheduled Closing Time For Request Of Bids For A Period Of 60 Days. Bidder Must Be Licensed In The State Of Ga. Contractor Will Furnish All Materials, Labor, Equipment & Perform All Work Required To Complete The Project. The Project Involves The Construction Of A Regional Storm Water Retention Pond On Remington Avenue In Front Of The Butler-Mason Ymca, Next To The E-911 Building. A Concrete Flow Control Structure Will Be Constructed To Utilize The Additional Storage Capacity And Provide A Reduction In Flow Exiting Through A Small Orifice In The Structure. This Retention Pond Will Reduce Flooding Potential At The Clanton Street And Margaret Street Intersection, And Reduce Impacts To Briley¿S Lake. A Complete Set Of Plans, Specs, & Bid Documents May Be Viewed At The City Engineer¿S Office (See Address Above) And Obtained By Emailing A Request To Engineering.Bids@Thomasville.Org. Proposals Will Not Be Considered By Owner Unless Bidder Is On Record As Purchasing & Receiving Complete Bid Documents. Bids Must Be Accompanied By A Certified Check Or Bid Bond In The Amount Of Not Less Than 10% Of The Bid. If Awarded The Contract, Bidder Will Submit Separate Payment & Performance Bonds Each For 100% Of The Contract Amount.
