St-02-2026 - Domestic Cold Water Supply System And Renovation Of . Other Construction Services The City Of Dieppe Is Requesting Sealed Tenders For Work Including, But Not Limited To: 1. Work On The Aquatic Centre Domestic Cold Water Supply System (Removals, Modifications, Replacements, Tie-Ins, Testing, Commissioning). 2. Renovation Of Three (3) Change Rooms, Including Related Work (Selective Demolition, Plumbing, Finishes, Coordination Of Trades, Reinstatement, Final Cleaning). The Detailed Scope And Technical Requirements Are Provided In The Citys Drawings And Specifications. - The Schedule Is Firm: June 22, 2026 (Start) To September 17, 2026 (Delivery). Work Covered By Contract Documents 1. The Work Of This Contract Comprises Renovations To The Dieppe Aquatics Centre, Including Architectural Improvements To The Change Rooms And A Complete Renewal Of The Domestic Water Piping System. 2. The Scope Of This Contract Includes But Is Not Limited To The Following Per Discipline: - Architectural Modifications: - Installation Of New Wall Tile Within The Change Rooms. - Renewal Of The Shower Partitions Throughout The Facility. - Replacement Of Countertops Within The Change Rooms. - Renewal Of Epoxy Flooring In Select Areas Within The Change Rooms. - Installation Of New Casework Within The Lifeguard Change Room And Common Area. - Removal And Reinstatement Of Drywall And T-Bar Ceilings As Required To Facilitate Renewal Of The Domestic Water Piping System. - Removal And Reinstatement Of Drywall Bulkheads And Walls As Required To Facilitate Renewal Of The Domestic Water Piping System. - Installation Of New Access Panels As Required To Complete The Renewal Of The Domestic Water Piping System. 3. Mechanical Modifications: - Renewal Of The Domestic Cold Water, Domestic Hot Water And Domestic Hot Water Recirculation Piping Systems. - Renewal Of Shower Plumbing, Including Trim, And Lavatory Faucets. 4. Cash Allowances - The General Contractor Shall Carry A $20,000 Cash Allowance As Part Of Their Bid Submission. Use Of The Cash Allowance Will Be Managed Through Standard Change Order Procedures, As Required. Any Unused Portion Of The Cash Allowance Shall Be Credited Back To The Contract At Completion. It Is Anticipated That The Cash Allowance May Be Used To Support The Following Additional Work: - Changes To Casework Requested By The Owner. These Changes Will Not Be Identified During The Tender Period. - Additional Modifications To The Lifeguard Change Room Shower, To Be Determined Upon Award Of The Project To The Successful Proponent. - Replacement Of Existing Plumbing Fixtures And Accessories Noted As Existing To Remain If They Are Deemed Unsuitable For Reuse.
