Waste Analysis Services – Waste Analysis 2026. The Danish Environmental Protection Agency Must Solve A Number Of Tasks, All Of Which Require Knowledge Of The Composition Of Waste In Denmark. The Focus Is Primarily On Household Waste, But Investigations Must Also Be Carried Out On Commercial Waste. The Investigations Include Both Correct And Wrongly Sorted Waste. In Connection With The Extended Producer Responsibility For Packaging, It Is Necessary To Know The Proportion Of Packaging Waste In Different Waste Fractions In Both Household Waste And Commercial Waste. This Calculation Must Be Used To Create Distribution Keys That Determine The Average Proportion Of Packaging Per Waste Fraction. The Distribution Keys Are Used In The Calculation Of Financial Compensation Between Packaging Manufacturers And Other Actors In Connection With The Handling Of Waste. The Distribution Keys Are Entered In The Packaging Executive Order, Which Lays Down The Rules On Extended Producer Responsibility For Packaging In Denmark. Allocation Keys For Household And Commercial Waste Have Previously Been Prepared, Which Are Being Updated With This Project. In Connection With The Plastic Contribution1 To The Eu Of Non-Recycled Plastic Packaging Waste, It Is Necessary To Know The Total Amount Of Plastic Packaging Waste In Both Household Waste And Commercial Waste. It Is Expected That This Inventory Is A Subset Of The Studies That Are Made In Connection With Producer Responsibility For Packaging. The Danish Environmental Protection Agency Also Needs To Map The Composition And Quantities Of Waste Collected By Households In Order To Gain A More Detailed Insight Into What Is Thrown Away, How It Is Divided Into Waste Fractions And How Citizens Sort. In This Context, Data From This Analysis Must Be Linked To Waste Data From The Waste Data System (Ads), Similar To The Latest Mapping Of Household Collected Waste (2021)2, Possibly In Combination With Other Relevant Data Sources. This Is With A View To Obtaining Knowledge About The Total Amount Of Waste Collected By Households - Both The Correctly Sorted And The Wrongly Sorted. The Results Must, Among Other Things, Is Used To Report The Amount Of Food Waste From Households To Eurostat And Must Thus Meet The Associated Methodological Requirements. The Ministry Of Food Also Wants And Needs The Food Waste Portion Of Food Waste To Be Calculated Into Five Fractions. The Danish Environmental Protection Agency Must Also Calculate The Amount Of Textile Waste In The Residual Waste, So That The Proportion Of Textile In The Residual Waste Can Be Monitored As Part Of The Future Producer Responsibility For Textiles. Finally, There Is A Requirement That The Danish Environmental Protection Agency Must Report To Eurostat The Amount Of Batteries In Residual Waste And In Electronic And Electrical Waste From Recycling Sites. There Is A Very Large Overlap In The Waste That Must Be Examined In Connection With The Purposes Described Above. This Leads To Overlap In Which Agreements Must Be Entered Into With Municipalities And Companies In Order To Carry Out The Waste Analyses. Therefore, The Danish Environmental Protection Agency Wants To Have The Investigations Carried Out As One Integrated Project That Utilizes The Professional And Practical Synergies Across The Sub-Tasks. Data And The Results From The Project Will
