Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services - Project Management Consultancy (Pmc) Service For Nhai; 1 Conducting nenessary tests to ascertain soil sale bearing capacity (SBC) for Building (02, Nos) at work site by drilling holes, collecting samples of disturbed and Un-disturbed soil. (a) 150 MM bore of depth 0 to 10 meter for building and shed according to IS 1892-1988 and IS-1892-1979. Two bore in corner and one bore in centre. (b) Conducting of laboratory test on disturbed/ undisturbed soil samples as per project requirement after completion of boring as given below :- (1) Sieve Analysis and grain size distribution by sieve analysis & hydrometer test. (1) Atterberg limits (i) Natural Moisture content (iv) Particle size analysis test (v) Bulk and dry density (vi) Specific Gravity (vii) Free swell Index and swelling properties of soil (vii) Organic matter in soil if any (ix) Consolidation test (compressed index value) (x) Triaxial compressioo test and determination of shear parameters (C & O test) as per relevant IS codes (xi) Harmful salt C value The fim shall submit the soil investigation completely covering the following (a) Bore log chart showing depth of soil strata. (b) Grotind water table. (c) Probable maximum and different settlement. (d) Safe bearing capacity based on shear and settlement. (e) Recommendation for type and depth of foundation. Note: The location of bidg/bores shall be given by GE The firm shall submit the soil investigation completely covering the following: (a) Bore log chart showing depth of soil strata. Note: The location of bldg/ bores shall be given by GE. 2 Conducting of standard CBR test to be performed for modulus of sub grade reaction to determination of k value of subgreade at different location for use in the design of pavementof solis, analysis of field test as per IS 2720 (part-16)-1987 with proper application of correction factors as per IS code seating load will be for heavy parameter as per clause in the IS code. 3 Preparation and submission of report in 06 copies containing all above test results, graphs, charts, calculation, including marking location on site plan alongwith photographic record etc and recommendations All pages of report, claculation sheet and connected documents will be serially numbered, stamped and signed by consultant.
