Descriptionthe Joint Project Arna – Stanghelle (Hereafter Fas) Is A Collaborative Project Between The Norwegian Public Roads Administration And Bane Nor, Where A New Road And Railway Will Be Built Between Arna In Bergen Municipality And Stanghelle/Helle In Vaksdal Municipality. The State Regulatory Plan For Fas Was Approved In April 2022. The New Road And Railway Will Go Through A Tunnel With A Short Daytime Zone At Vaksdal. New Road Also Has A Short Daytime Zone At Trengereid. Preparatory Works Are Planned To Start In 2025 And Are Scheduled To Be Completed Early In 2027. The Main Project Has An Expected Construction Period Of 12 Years. Fas Forms Part Of The Project Portfolio Of The National Road Administration Development Area West And Bane Nor Sf, Division Development, Development Unit Mega Projects.
