The University Of Zurich (Uzh) Is Tendering For The Following Procurement Requirements: A Confocal Spinning Disk Laser Scanning Microscope For The Analysis Of Developing Organisms (Example: Organoids, Spheroids, Xenopus Embryo) And Cells. This Specification Sheet Describes The Requirements For These Systems. The System Offered Must Allow The Inclusion Of Developing Organisms (Example: Organoids, Spheroids, Xenopus Embryo) And Living Cells. The System Must Be Suitable For Overview Photographs At Low Magnifications (Example With Lenses < 5X). With High-Resolution Lenses It Must Be Possible To Achieve The Best Possible Resolutions With The Best Sensitivity And Quality. The System Must Work In Parallel With 2 Highly Sensitive And, If Possible, High-Resolution Em-Ccd Cameras, Which Can Record The Largest Possible Image Field. The System Will Have 7 Excitation Wavelengths To Excite And Detect Fluorescent Dyes In The Range Of 400 Nm - 750 Nm. The System Must Be Suitable For Quickly And Efficiently Imaging Large Samples In 3D And For Imaging Rapid Processes In Living Cells. It Must Be Possible To Define Regions In Overview Recordings Both Manually And Automatically Using Algorithms, Which Are Then Recorded Automatically With Specific And Definable Recording Settings.
