The Current Construction Is Defined As Second Category, According To Art. 137, Paragraph 1, Item 2, Letter B Of Zut And Art. 4, Para. 2, Item 2 Of Ordinance No. 1 Of 2003 On The Nomenclature Of The Types Of Construction - Main Branches Of Water Supply Networks And Their Facilities In Urbanized Areas. The Approximate Length Is 9,973.50 Meters; The Current Project Deals With The Reconstruction Of The Internal Water Supply Network Of The Village Of Fakia, Sredets Municipality Within The Boundaries Of The Urbanized Territory, Without Affecting External Routes In Agricultural Lands, As Well As The Water Pressure Facilities And Water Sources - Pressure Reservoirs And Pumping Stations. The Project Routes Are Located Entirely Within The Street Regulation Of The Village Plan In Municipally Owned Properties And Are The Reconstruction Of Existing Water Pipes. The Water Supply Network Of The Village Of Fakia Is Built Mainly With Asbestos-Cement, Whose Age Has Already Exceeded The Normal Expected Operational Life. As A Result, Frequent Accidents Are Observed, Which Lead To The Suspension Of Water Supply To The Entire Village Due To The Lack Of Shut-Off Valves In The Network. The Investment Project Will Serve The Municipality Of Sredets To Apply For A Targeted State Subsidy And To Gradually Realize All The Planned Measures For The Reconstruction And Modernization Of The Amortized Facilities.
