Annual Maintenance Of Civil Works For Buildings Under Directorate Of Transport At Sri Vijaya Puram Under Sd-Iii, Svpnd, Apwd, Sri Vijaya Puram During The Year 2025-26- Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation,grass,brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared. 2 Trimming and cutting into pieces of Siris trees branches 02 Nos. of girth of average 0.50 for length of 4.00mtr and 10 Nos. additional branches of girth 0.30 m spreading to an average length of 7.00 to 8.00 mtr including trimming of branches making into pieces, all tolls, scaffolding including loading of pieces of branches, leaves and debris into the truck manually and carriage and disposal by mechanical transport with a lead of 08km complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge. 3 Providing and fixing double action hydraulic floor spring of approved brand and manufacture conforming to IS : 6315, having brand logo embossed on the body / plate with double spring mechanism and door weight upto 125 kg, for doors, including cost of cutting floors, embedding in floors as required and making good the same matching to the existing floor finishing and cover plates with brass pivot and single piece M.S. sheet outer box with slide plate etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer- in-charge. 4 With stainless steel cover plate minimum 1.25 mm thickness 5 Providingandfixingaluminiumextrudedsectionbodytubulartype universal hydraulic door closer (having brand logo with ISi, IS : 3564, embossed on the body, door weight upto 36 kg to 80 kg and door width from 701 mm to 1000 mm), with double speed adjustment with necessary accessories and screws etc. complete. 6 Providing and fixing aluminium sliding door bolts, ISI marked anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS: 1868), transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with nuts and screws etc. complete : 7 250x16 mm 8 Providing and fixing aluminium tower bolts, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868 ) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : 9 250x10 mm 10 200x10 mm 11 Providing and fixing aluminium handles, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : 12 125 mm 13 100 mm 14 Providing and fixing aluminium hanging floor door stopper, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour and shade, with necessary screws etc. complete. 15 Twin rubber stopper 16 Providing and fixing stainless steel Imax hinges with necessary screws for aluminium windows etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. 17 Providing and fixing panelling or panelling and glazing in panelled or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows (Area of opening for panel inserts excluding portion inside grooves or rebates to be measured). Panelling for panelled or panelled and glazed shutters 25 mm to 40 mm thick. 18 Float glass panes5.0mm thick glasspanes (weight not less than 12.50 kg/sqm). 19 Particle Board 12 mm thickPlain particle board flat pressed, 3 layer or graded wood particle board medium density Grade I, IS : 3087 marked 20 Cleaning of terrace/loft water storage tank (inside surface area) upto 2000 litre capacity at all heights with coconut brushes, duster etc., removal of silt, rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleaching powder @ 0.5gm per litre capacity of tank including marking the date of cleaning on the side of tank body with the help of stencil and paint and disposing of malba all complete as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge. (The old date already written on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paint and if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removed deduction will be made @ Rs. 0.10 per litre) (if during cleaning any GI fittings or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account) 21 Cleaning of under ground sump, Over Head R.C.C. Tank ( independent staging) including disposal of slit and rubbish, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consistfollowing operations:- (i)Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and otherdeposits. (ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water. (iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine. (iv) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all loose particles shall be removal from the surface. (v) Finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 22 Taking out existing wooden door shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. 23 Providing and fixing in walling/ partition with 16.75mm thick pre-laminated HDHMR Board panelling tongues and grooved with WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) frame work of size 50 x 25mm fixed at 300mm c/c horizontally and 600mm c/c vertically secrete nailing with stainless steel screws duly fixed to wall including leading etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. 24 Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fastenersto be paid for separately) : 25 For fixed portionAnodised aluminium (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) 26 Providing and fixing powder coated aluminium work (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) consisting of tee/ angle sections, of approved make conforming to IS : 733 in frames of false ceiling including aluminium angle cleats with necessary C.P. brass/ stainless steel sunk screws, aluminium perimeter angles fixed to wall with stainless steel rawl plugs @ 450 mm centre to centre and fixing the frame work to G.I. level adjusting hangers 6 mm dia. with necessary cadmium plated machine screws all complete as per approved architectural drawings and direction of the Engineer-in-charge (level adjusting hangers, ceiling cleats and expansion hold fasteners to be paid for separately). 27 Providingand fixingplainmultipurpose cement board(Hight pressure steam cured) with suitable screws for cement particle board in ceiling etc. complete (frame work to be paid seperatately). 28 6 mm thick Cement fiber board, Type-B, Category-III as per IS: 14862 :2000 29 Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching, refilling & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. External work 30 20 mm nominal dia Pipes 31 25 mm nominal dia Pipes 32 Providing and fixing P.V.C. waste pipe for sink or wash basin including P.V.C. waste fittings complete. 33 Semi rigid pipe32 mm dia 34 Providing and fixing C.P. brass long nose bib cock of approved quality conforming to IS standards and weighing not less than 810 gms. 35 15 mm nominal bore 36 Providing and fixing uplasticised PVC connection pipe with brass unions : 37 60cm length15mm nominal bore 38 Providing and fixing 600x450 mm beveled edge mirror of superior glass (of approved quality) complete with 6 mm thick hard board ground fixed to wooden cleats with C.P. brass screws and washers complete. 39 Providing and fixing of 8mm thick glass in existing flush wooden door shutter by removing door and cutting at 1.50 mtr height from floor level of size 350x250mm with padauk wood beading with necessary accessories including re-fixing o door and finishing with two coats of melamine glossy over a coat of wood filler putty etc including preparation and finessing to glossy finish all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. 40 Taking out and refixing of aluminium doors/ windows including repairing the same with cleats, angles, screws whatever required and refixing the same in position all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
