The Purpose Of This Negotiated Request For Proposal (The “Nrfp”) Is To Receive Proposals From Qualified, Licensed Design Consultants To Provide Professional Consulting Services For The New Westminster Campus Concourse Upgrade. The Intent Of This Engagement Is To Assess Existing Conditions, Address Life-Safety And Code Compliance Concerns, And Develop Multiple Design Pathways To Inform Future Capital Decision-Making. This Nrfp Is Structured To Allow The College To Evaluate Three Distinct Levels Of Design Intervention, Ranging From Targeted Retrofits To A Comprehensive Concourse And Stair Renewal Incorporating A Social Stair Concept. The College Reserves The Option To Award Subsequent Detailed Design, Procurement And Construction Administrative Phases To The Consultant.
