Pumps – Prj1520a - Manufacture And Supply Of Four (4) Horizontally Mounted Fish-Safe Axial Pumps With Check Valve, One (1) Dummy Pump And Two (2) Lifting Slides With Guides.. Description And Purpose Of The Tender With This Tender, The Contracting Authority Intends To Contract A Tenderer For The “Bijmaling Gemaal Nol Zeven” Project For The Manufacture And Supply Of Four (4) Horizontally Installed Fish-Safe Axial Pumps With Check Valve, One (1) Dummy Pump And Two (2) Lifting Slides With Guides. Current Situation Nol Zeven Pumping Station Dates From The 1960S And Was Originally Built As A Drainage Lock. The Discharge Lock Consists Of Two (2) Parallel Tubes, Which Have The Option Of Discharging Water Into The Western Scheldt Under Free Fall At Low Tide. The Civil Engineering Installation Consists Of Concrete Tubes. The Guard Doors Are Opened And Closed Automatically Based On The Water Difference Pressure Between The Western Scheldt On The One Hand And The Nol Zeven Polder On The Other. The Storm Surge Gates Are Electromechanically Driven, While The Maintenance Gates Are Manually Operated. Free Drainage Creates A Situation In Which Eel/Silver Eel And Other Fish Species Can Leave Freely And Undamaged. The Move In In The Spring Is Based On Strong Swimmers And The Leakage Of The Lock, There Are Always Gaps. The Reason For The Water Project Is So Obvious That It Is Only Noticed When There Is A Surplus, A Shortage Or Pollution. In Order To Best Manage Desired Water Levels, The Contracting Authority Organizes Its Water System In Accordance With Legal Guidelines. This Includes, For Example, Desired Ground And Surface Water Regime (Ggor) For Good Water Level Management Under Daily Conditions And Water Management 21St Century (Wb21) For Good Water Drainage And Sufficient Water Storage Under Extreme Situations. In The Context Of The Wb21 And Ggor Assignment From The Contracting Authority, A Calculation Of The West Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Water Level Decision Was Carried Out To Discover Bottlenecks In The Water System With Regard To Bringing This System Into Order. The Ggor Analysis Shows That The Current Level Locally Deviates Significantly From The Optimal Situation. A Higher Level Is Desirable In A Number Of Gauge Areas, Especially Where Soils Sensitive To Desiccation Are Concerned. Level Management There Is Suboptimal, Because It Is Largely Determined By The Lowest-Lying Plots. Various Areas Have Been Indicated That Have Less Than Optimal Drainage And Are Therefore Too Wet As A Result Of A Relatively High Winter Level Or A Higher Location Of Culverts Or Ditch Bottom. In The Daily Use Of The Water System, As Shown By The Inventory And Survey Carried Out In The Context Of The Water Planning Plan (Pwo), Flooding And Water Shortages Are Experienced In Various Places. This Nuisance And Shortage Are Also Reflected In The Ggor Study. This Concerns The Situation Under Normal Circumstances, But Also Problems In Discharge Situations. After It Was Made Clear Which Bottlenecks Are Located In The West Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Area, Measures Were Sought That Would Reduce The
