The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of climate resilient wheat value chain development project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Supply of Agricultural Machinery and Related Equipment. 3. The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Agricultural Machinery and Related Equipment packaged under the different lots indicated in the table below: Bidding will be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding International procedures in accordance with the African Development Banks Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework. 5. Interested eligible bidders may bid for any one or more of the above listed lots and may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office address given below in the morning from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and in the afternoon from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday. 6. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 2000.00 (two thousand birr) or USD 15.00 (fifteen Dollar) equivalent in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be through bank transfer to CBE Acc. No 1000009144009 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:30 AM EAT on 24 March 2026 accompanied with Bid securities per Lot as indicated in Table above, in the format provided in Section IV of the Bidding Document for this procurement. The Bid Securities shall be enforceable in locally registered banks in Ethiopia. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. 8. Bids shall be publicly opened at the address below, at 10:45 AM on the same date of closing in the presence of bidders or their designated representatives who choose to attend.
