Tenders are invited for GAP Coaching Expert The René Moawad Foundation (RMF), with funding from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) through the Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), is implementing the Economic Development and Food Security project in Akkar and North Lebanon. The project aims to sustain agricultural production and strengthen the economic resilience of vulnerable vegetable farmers through capacity building, technical assistance, and climate-smart agricultural practices. Building on lessons learned from previous phases, RMF will complement Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training with structured on-farm coaching to ensure practical application and long-term adoption of improved practices. RMF is currently Requesting a Quotation for expert/consultant services for the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training and coaching activities in Akkar and North Lebanon. The project aims to sustain agricultural production and strengthen the economic resilience of vulnerable vegetable farmers through capacity building, technical assistance, and climate-smart agricultural practices. Building on lessons learned from previous phases, RMF will complement Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training with structured on-farm coaching to ensure practical application and long-term adoption of improved practices. The consultancy aims to strengthen the capacities of 120 newly targeted vulnerable vegetable farmers through the delivery of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training combined with tailored, on-site technical coaching. Through this integrated approach, farmers are expected to improve production yields, enhance the quality of their produce to meet both local and international standards, reduce production costs, and adopt environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient farming practices, thereby contributing to improved food security.
