The Plant Has Recently Modernized Parts Of The Process - And The Machine Equipment. Todays Plant Uses Aluminum As Precipitation Chemical In 2025 And New Capacity Is 27,500 Pe. The Plant Does Not Satisfy The Current Requirements For Waste Water Treatment As It Does Not Have Secondary Treatment For The Reduction Of Organic Material From The Waste Water. Persistent Breach Of The Discharge Permit. The Bof5 Purification In % Or Residual Quantity Several Times Does Not Reach The Requirements Of 70% Or 25 Mg/L. The Requirement For Secondary Treatment Is Placed On All Treatment Plants Located In Densely Populated Areas That Have A Connection Greater Than 10,000 Pe Mjøndalen Sewage Plant Is Therefore In Breach Of The Pollution Regulations, And The Area Has A Construction Ban. In Order To Satisfy The Authorities Requirements For Necessary Sewage Treatment, It Is Desired To Build The Necessary Secondary Treatment Stage In The Facility.
