Descriptionsandefjord Municipality And Tønsberg Renseanlegg Iks Have Received Demands From The State Administrator In Vestfold And Telemark To Upgrade The Treatment Plants To Remove Nitrogen. Tønsberg Renseanlegg Iks Is Therefore Planning The Construction Of A New Nitrogen Treatment Plant With The Reuse Of Parts Of The Existing Plant, And Sandefjord Municipality Plans To Expand The Existing Sandefjord Ra. It Has Also Been Decided That Vårnes Ra And Bekkevika Ra Will Be Shut Down And Replaced With Pumping Stations For Further Pumping To Vallø Ra In Tønsberg. The Projects Have Carried Out A Concept Selection Investigation (Kvu) Which Provides Recommendations On Location, Capacity And Main Principles For The Cleaning Process. The Contracting Parties Have Chosen To Carry Out A Joint Procurement Process. The Contractors Who Are Invited To Participate Will Be Given The Opportunity To Submit Offers For One Or Both Facilities. The Contract Will Be Carried Out As A Turnkey Contract With Interaction. The Starting Point Is That Separate Contracts Will Be Entered Into For Each Of The Facilities, But The Clients Reserve The Right To Organize All Or Parts Of The Interaction Phase Jointly For Both Projects (If The Award Results Make This Possible).
