In View Of The Constant Increase In Traffic And With The Aim Of Improving Service To The Pont De Dranse (Rd1005) Sector, The Department Is Studying Several Road Developments In The Municipalities Of Thonon-Les-Bains, Publier And Marin, Including The Widening Of The Rd1005 Viaduct Over The Dranse In The Thonon Towards Evian Direction, To Become Two-Lane From The Roundabout At The End Of The Bypass To The Larry Interchange. The Solution Identified At The Preliminary Studies Stage Is The Construction Of A New Structure With New River Piers And New Abutments, Connected By Hook To The Current Structure.
