Construction-Related Services – Procurement Of Construction And Supervision Services For Hintas Water Plant Expansion. A New Water Treatment Plant Is Being Planned Next To The Hinta Water Plant Of Oulun Vesi. The Estimated Total Cost Of The Project Is Around €60 Million And Construction Is Estimated To Start In 2027 At The Latest. Construction Is Estimated To End In 2029 And The Facility Will Be Handed Over For Production Use In 2030, The Year After Commissioning. For The Expansion Project Of The Hinta Surface Water Plant, There Is A Need To Get The Services Of A Developer Consultant And Monitoring Resources For Different Technical Fields. The Consultants Will Assist The Customer Already In The Planning Phase, During Which The Consultants Will Check And Comment On The Implementation Plan, As Well As Help The Customer Tender E.G. Contractors For Preparatory Work. A Limited Procedure Has Been Chosen As The Procurement Procedure For This Consultant Group (Builder Consultant And Supervisors). The Duration Of The Contract Is Until June 1, 2030 + 1 Year Option Period. The Subscriber Alone Decides On The Use Of The Option. Russias War Of Aggression Against Ukraine Starting In February 2022 Caused A Fundamental Change In The Security Environment. The Change Has Aggravated The Threat Climate And Forces Special Preparation. Due To This Change In The Security Environment And Climate, The City Of Oulu Tightens The Processing And Sharing Of Security, Preparedness And Security Of Supply Sensitive Information In Its Procurement In Order To Protect The Safety Of The Population And The National Critical Infrastructure Owned And Controlled By The Municipality That Guarantees The Safety Of The Population.
