The Scope Concerns The Following Activities And Relates To The Entire Lemmer Delfzijl Main Waterway: - Carrying Out Freshwater Dredging Work. This Involves Carrying Out Annual Prioritized Maintenance And Removing Bottlenecks; - Draining Acute Shoals And Erosion Holes In The Shipping Channel; - Laying Released Clay In Places Where Large Erosion Holes Have Developed That Can Pose A Risk Of Underwashing Of Sheet Pile Walls; - Removing Some Known Car Wrecks And Other Major Obstructions. The Exact Maintenance Requirements Are Agreed Annually In A Further Agreement. This Includes The Exact Locations And Activities. About 40 Urgent Bottlenecks Have Been Defined With Approximately 100,000M3. In Addition, The Annual Regular Dredging Requirement Is 27,000M3. The Expected Maintenance Requirement Over 3 Years Is Approximately 180,000 To 200,000M3. See Brief Description And Description Per Plot.
