For Several Years Now, The Information Technology (It) Department Of The Clinics Has Been Operating A Data Center To Operate The Clinic Networks Extensive Applications. The Data Center Is Based On A Classic System Structure With Esx Servers, Storage And Backup Systems As Well As A Core Network Infrastructure. The Existing System Now Needs To Be Modernized. Some Of The Components In Use Have Reached Their Maximum Useful Life And Are No Longer Supported, Meaning That They Need To Be Replaced With New Components. In The Course Of Implementing The Medical And Strategic Concept For The Orientation Of The Clinics, New Services And Applications Are Becoming Imperative, Which Require A Correspondingly Powerful System Environment With A High Degree Of Availability. The Overall Performance Of The Systems Should Be Adapted To The New Requirements Of The Clinics And Be Further Scalable For The Further Digitalization In The Healthcare Sector That Is Expected In The Future. Against This Background, The Clinics Intend To Procure And Implement The Components For A Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (Hci) In Order To Then Migrate The Existing Systems Of The Previous Data Center Into The New System Environment.
