The Stave Church At Urnes Is Norways Oldest Stave Church And Is A Unique Cultural Monument On The Unesco World Heritage List. An Architectural Competition 2021/22 Was Held And The Winning Proposal Urneskilen, Prepared By Lipinski Architects, A.C.B. And Tobias Laukenmann From Malmö And Copenhagen, Will Form The Basis For The Realization Of The Urnes World Heritage Centre. The Central Historical Society Will Be The Developer And Have Overall Project Responsibility For The Realization Of The Centre. The Purpose Of The New Visitor Center Is To Ensure A Sustainable Visitor Operation And Future Preservation Of The Stave Church, As Well As To Be Able To Communicate Urnes In A Depth And Breadth That Corresponds To The Obligations As A Unesco World Heritage Site. The Center Will Strengthen The Local Community In Ornes And Facilitate Sustainable Development In Line With Unescos Principles. Sub-Projects That Contribute To Content And Offers In The Centre, Indoors And Outdoors, Are Also Part Of The Project. The Largest Sub-Projects Are The Exhibition Urnes Stave Church - Wood And Faith Through A Thousand Years And Urnes Garden On The Centres Grounds. The Indoor Exhibition Areas Will Accommodate Two Different Exhibition Concepts With Different Exhibition Design And Content. Both Exhibitions Will Contribute To Ensuring That Visits Are Carried Out In A Logistically Sound Manner And Provide Room For Experiences, Reflection And Learning For Individual Visitors, Groups And School Classes. They Must Be Linked With The Rest Of The Public Offer At The Center To Provide A Comprehensive Experience. The Urneshagen Is An Information And Experience Area Linked To An Apple Orchard On The Centres Grounds, With A Focus On Sustainable Management Of Natural Resources And The Uns Sustainability Goals. The Starting Point Is The Nearby Ornes, With Nature And The Cultural Landscape As A Source Of Experiences And Knowledge, With A Focus On Central Sustainability Themes Such As Species Diversity, Cultural Landscape And Food Production. The Construction Project Of Approx. 1,000 M2 And Has A Total Cost Of Nok 90 Million. The Building Is Fully Financed With Support From The State, County, Municipality And Private Donors. The Architects Behind The Winning Draft In The Architectural Competition Must Be Actively Involved In Further Planning, And We Work Together With Them To Finalize The Sketch Phase. The Procurement Concerns The Project Manager For The Engineering Of The Construction Works For The Urnes World Heritage Centre. The Assignment Starts As Soon As Possible After Contract Award. The Duration Of The Assignment Is Until The Pre-Project Phase Is Finished, But Depending On The Choice Of Contractor/Type Of Contract, It Can Be Continued Until The Center Is Opened. The Pre-Project Phase Is Expected To Be Completed During 2026. The Parties Must Agree On The Final Scope Of The Assignment, And What Load It Will Have Per Month. The Supplier Must Offer One Named Resource To Be Dedicated To The Assignment. In Addition, The Supplier Must Offer A Deputy Who Will Take Over In The Event That The Offered Resource Becomes Ill Or, For Particularly Important Reasons, Cannot Complete The Assignment. Both The Offered Resource And Substitute Will Be Evaluated. Both The Project Manager And The Deputy Must Be Fluent In Spoken And Written Norwegian. The Project Manager Shall, In Collaboration With The Historical Heritage Association, Carry Out The Design Work From The Finished Sketch Project To The Complete Working Basis And Assessment Of Tenders Received. It May Be Appropriate To Extend The Commitment Into The Further Construction Project. The Client Must Have An Option For Such An Extension. Particularly Important Areas Of Responsibility For The Project Manager Are: · Overall Responsibility For Progress, Project Management, Contracts, Finances, Risk Management And Reporting. · Coordinating And Following Up That Planning Actors Carry Out Their Tasks In Line With Concluded Contracts With The Client. · Responsibility For Contact With Authorities, And Responsible Applicant For The Planning And Building Act. · Prepare Project Goals And Ensure Goal Achievement. · Ensure That Safety, Health And Working Environment (Sha), Environment, Quality Assurance (Ks), Risk Analysis And Risk Management Are Carried Out. · Prepare Relevant Targets For Sustainability And Environmental Considerations In Collaboration With The Client. · Have Control Over The Interdisciplinary Interfaces Using Project-Related Tools Such As Pa Book And Responsibility Matrices. · Management Of The Projects Implementation In Relevant Phases And Follow-Up Of Quality, Efficiency And Ethics, Corresponding To The Construction Industrys Systematic Completion. · Building Information Modeling (Bim) Must Be An Integral Part Of The Design Process And The Project Manager Must Manage The Bim Processes. The Client Wants Close Cooperation Between The Project Manager And The Associations Project Manager. When The Project Manager Is In Place, The Interface Between The Roles Must Be Clarified And Adapted.
