General Procurement Notice for provision of consulting services for the Islamic Finance Grant to the Development Bank (Oman) to Develop Islamic Finance Operation Islamic Finance Grant to the Development Bank (Oman) to Develop Islamic Finance Operation The project has the following deliverables: 1. Feasibility study covering three strategic options which are: · A Full Conversion into a Fully-Fledged Islamic Bank · Establishing an Islamic subsidiary Banking/ Window within the Development Bank · Partnering with a Third-Party Provider to Offer Islamic Financial Products 2. Training and capacity building · Develop and provide 4 Capacity Development workshops for Islamic banking knowledge, covering product delivery, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance. Procurement of contracts financed by the Islamic Development Bank will be conducted through the procedures specified under the Guidelines for the Procurement of Consultant Services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (April 2019, revised in February 2023) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
