Tittelinvitation To Pre-Qualification: Procurement Of Aircrew Survival Vest (Asv) And Aircrew Plate Carrier (Apc) . Descriptionthe Norwegian Defense Forces Will Carry Out A Limited Tender For The Acquisition Of New Survival And Protective Equipment For Aircrews. The Procurement Comprises Two Separate Sub-Procurements (Lots):Lot 1 – Aircrew Survival Vest (Asv) This Sub-Procurement Concerns New Survival Vests For Crew Members In All Norwegian Armed Forces Helicopter Types, Including The Aw101-612 And Mh‑60R. Asv Must Ensure Both The Flotation Function (Life Jacket) And The Carrying Of Necessary Survival Equipment. Lot 2 – Aircrew Plate Carrier (Apc) This Sub-Procurement Concerns Ballistic Plate Carriers For Aircrews Operating In Environments With A Heightened Threat Level, Including Maritime Counter-Terrorist Operations (Mkt). The Plate Carrier Must Provide Ballistic Protection, Be Compatible With The Defences Existing Plates, And Ensure Sufficient Mobility In Combat Situations And During Demanding Operations. The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Ensure That The Defences Air Crews Are Equipped With Modern, Ergonomic And Safe Systems That Support Operations In Demanding Maritime And Tactical Environments. The Equipment Must Be Robust, Withstand Norwegian Climatic Conditions And Contribute To The Safe And Efficient Operation Of The Norwegian Armed Forces Helicopters. The Procurement Will Result In Two Separate Framework Agreements, One For Asv And One For Apc. It Is Possible For One Supplier To Win Both Raffles. Suppliers Applying For Pre-Qualification Must Provide Documentation Showing That They Meet The Qualification Requirements.
