The Town Of Canmore Is Looking To Retain A Design-Build Contractor To Complete The Engineering, Procurement And Construction Of Multiple-Project Building Energy Retrofits At The Canmore Recreation Centre And Elevation Place. The Contractor Will Be Responsible For Providing Turnkey Services That Result In Energy Savings, Improved Building Operations And Facility Upgrades. A Pre-Engineering Report Has Been Prepared To Help Define The Scope And Requirements Of The Project. The Retrofits Focus On Mechanical And Electrical Upgrades To The Buildings, Modifying Existing Systems To Reduce Energy Consumption And Greenhouse Gas Emissions In Line With The Towns Climate Emergency Action Plan. The Focus Is On The Modification And Control Hvac Systems, With One Building To Undergo A Lighting Retrofit.
