The Intent Of This Request For Proposals (“Rfp”) Is To Solicit And Receive Formal Offers From Prospective Proponents For The Provision Of Fixed Price Construction Services For The Peace River Courthouse – Replace Humidification System (“Project”).The Project Involves The Demolition Of The Existing Adiabatic Humidification System At Air Handling Unit As-1 And Its Replacement With An Electric Steam Generator. The New System Will Include A Steam Dispersion Grid And A Water Softener Installation To Provide Humidification.As Part Of Its Proposal, Each Proponent Must Include A Valid Bid Bond In The Manner Set Out Below:A) Provide Bid Security In The Form Of An Electronic Bid Bond In An Amount Not Less Than 10% Of The Bid Price.B) The Bid Bond Shall Be Submitted As Its Own Pdf Document, Separate From The Other Tender Submission Documents, In Its Original Electronic Format. Scanned Or Altered Pdf Copies Of The Original Bid Bond Will Be Deemed Invalid And May Cause The Bid To Be Rejected.
