These 2 Phases Can Be Summarized As Follows:Design Services/Work Phasetyperemuneration Methodform Of Contracttimeline Requirement:Phase 1 – Preliminary Design & Detailed Design:Review Of Reference Documentssite Survey & Bridge Alignment Confirmationgeotechnical Design & Engineeringpreliminary Designconfirm All Regulatory Requirementsclass C Cost Estimate For Workdetailed Design & Engineeringclass A Cost Estimate For Work Final Owner’S Statement Of Requirementsbase Servicesfixed Feeconsulting Services Agreementphase To Be Complete By May 15, 2026Phase 2 – Construction Documents & Constructioncreate Construction Drawings & Specificationsconstruction Workoptional Services & Work*Stipulated Contract Price(To Be Mutually Agreed At Conclusion Of Phase 1, And Based On Sum Of: A) Fixed Fee For Construction Documents, B) Estimated Cost Of The Work, C) Design-Builder’S % Markup Fee Of The Cost Of The Work).Ccdc14-2013 Design-Build Contract (As Modified By Supplementary Conditions)Construction Documents To Be Completed During The Period June 15 To July 15, 2026Work That Is Subject To Wsa Section 11 Permit Construction Must Occur During Fish Timing Window Of August 7 To August 23, 2026. Work That Is Not Subject To The Wsa Section 11 Permit May Be Completed Outside Of That Section 11 Fish Timing Window, With Substantial Performance To Be Achieved No Later Than September 25, 2026.* ‘Phase 2 – Construction Documents & Construction’ Is To Be Considered ‘Optional Services & Work’, Meaning That This Phase 2 Design Services & Work Shall Only Proceed At The District’S Sole Option, And Subject To District Approval Of; Phase 1 Design, Proposed Phase 2 Schedule, And Proposed Stipulated Contract Price For Phase 2. Should The Parties Not Be Able To Mutually Agree To Contract Terms, Including A Stipulated Contract Price For Phase 2, Then The District May At Its Sole Option Conduct A Further Procurement Process To Identify And Contract With Other Parties To Perform Phase 2.Form Of Contract:The Form Of Contract To Be Executed Between The District And The Design-Builder For Phase 1 Shall Be The Consulting Services Agreement Which Is Contained In Section 00 70 00 Of This Rfp.Should The District And The Design-Builder Mutually Agree To Execute A Contract For Phase 2, Then This Shall Be The Ccdc14 – 2013 Design-Build Stipulated Price Contract As Modified By The Supplementary Conditions, Which Is Contained Within Section 00 70 00 Of This Rfp.Further Details On The District’S Requirements Are Provided In The Rfp Documents In The Districts Bids & Tenders Bidding Platform.
