Construction-Site Supervision Services – External Monitoring Of Surface Sealing 6Th Construction Phase Of The Warden Landfill. The Alsdorf-Warden Central Landfill Was Operated As A Municipal Waste Landfill Until May 31, 2005. Since Then, Inert Materials Have Been Installed In The Leveling Layer To Create The Surface Design And To Compensate For Settlement. The Landfill Is Divided Into 4 Sections (Landfill Slices). A Total Of Around 7.2 Million M³ Of Waste Was Deposited Up To A Height Of Around 32 M. Structural Engineering Measures Ensure The Final Securing Of The Former Municipal Waste Dump. These Include, Among Other Things, The Connection And Sealing To The Existing Old Base Sealing, The Surface Sealing Of The Landfill With Plateau And Embankments As Well As The Drainage Of The Rainwater That Accumulates On The Surface And In The Sealing System. The Surface Sealing In Ba 6 Is Provided With An Additional Or Adapted Support And Compensation Layer, A Gas-Permeable Gas Compensation Layer, A Support Layer, A Geosynthetic Clay Sealing Membrane, A Plastic Sealing Membrane, Over Which A Plastic Drainage Element Is Laid. The Surface Sealing System In Ba 6 Is Finally Completed With A 1.30 M Thick Recultivation Layer, Consisting Of Subsoil (1.00 M) And Topsoil (0.30 M). The Rainwater That Runs Off The Surface Is Collected And Drained Away In The Existing Drainage System. In Detail, The Quality Management Plan Covers The Following Focal Points: • Responsibility And Tasks Of Quality Assurance, Including The Regulation Of The Interaction Between The Control Institutions Involved • Requirements For The Materials To Be Used And The Associated Suitability Tests, Including The Test Reports • Measures For Quality Monitoring And Testing During The Production Of The Surface Sealing System, Including The Creation Of Test Reports And Releases • Measures For Official Acceptance, Including The Creation Of Acceptance Documentation
