Expression of Interest for Provision of Financial Audit Services Scope of Work The audit will cover the following areas: Organization-wide coverage: Grants, donatiens, oeuonal expenses, and programmatic expenditures. Compliance review: Donor requirements, national regulations, and internal financial policies. o Risk assessment: Identification of financial risks and recommendations for mitigation. Capacity-building lens: Highlighting areas for strengthening financial management and leadership. o Sustainability focus: Evaluation of practices supporting resilience and continuity. 4. Methodology The audit will be conducted in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and will include: Document review: Examination of financial statement, ledgers, and supporting documentation. o Interviews: Discussions with finance staff program managers, and leadership. o Internal control testing: Assessment of systems and procedures for safeguarding assets. o Analytical procedures: Trend analysis, ratio analysis, and variance checks. o Compliance verification: Cross-checking with donor agreements and regulatory requirements. 5. Deliverables The auditor will provide: o Audit report with findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Management letter highlighting key issues and suggested improvements. o Capacity-building recommendations tailored to women-led leadership. o Sustainability insights to strengthen long-term financ resilience. 6.
