The Cru Intends To Procure A Service To Provide Independent Long Term Forward Power Price Forecasts For Sem, Great Britain And France Through To 2050, Under Various Scenarios On A Quarterly Basis And Included Technology Capture Prices And Access To Historical Projections. Access To A Service To Retrieve Long Term Power Price Data And Information Will Facilitate The Cru In Carrying Out Integral Workstreams (Including But Not Limited To; Public Service Obligation Levy, Directed Contracts, Imperfection Charges And Extensive Long Term Modelling Analysis Exercises) Efficiently, Appropriately And Accurately. The Independent Third-Party Long-Term Price Projections Will Also Be Used As A Comparative Tool Against Cru’S Internally Modelled Output Prices, This Would Ensure The Quality Assurance In Its Internally Modelling Processes. This Approach Will Strengthen Quality Assurance Within Our Internal Modelling Processes By Providing An Independent Point Of Comparison. Long-Term Sem Prices Have Been And Will Continue To Be A Fundamental Requirement To Conduct Ongoing Analysis Exercises.
