Separate Sealed Bids For Furnishing Of All Materials, Labor, Tools, Equipment, And Appurtenances Necessary For The Ivy Street Culvert Replacement Project Will Be Received By The Owner At The Walker County Board Of Commissioners Office, 101 S Duke Street, Lafayette, Ga 30728, Until 2:00 P.M., Local Time, On Thursday, February 19, 2026, And Then At Said Office Publicly Opened And Read Aloud.The Project Consists Of The Following Major Elements: Replacement Of A Failed Existing Stormwater Infrastructure Located In Front Of A Commercial Parcel At The Intersection Of Ivy Street And Highway 27. The Work Will Include Construction Of New Culverts With A Total Of Approximately 150 Linear Feet, Subject To Field Conditions. The Culvert Is Located Within A High-Traffic Area That Experiences Frequent Heavy Truck Loading, Which Has Been Incorporated Into The Design Criteria. Construction Will Be Performed In Accordance With The Plans And Specifications. Copies May Be Obtained There Upon Payment Of $100 For Each Set. This Payment Is Not Refundable. Bidders Must Be Listed On Engineers List Of Planholders Who Have Purchased The Contract Documents, Specifications, And Drawings.
