This Invitation To Bid (Itb) Is Issued By The City Of Oxford, To Solicit Proposal Packages (Each A Bid) From Interested Parties (Each A Bidder) For The Construction Of The East Bonnell Street And East Soule Street Trailsand Trailheads (Project). The Projects Will Consist Of The Construction Of Multi-Use Trails Described First On East Bonnell Street From Emory St/Hwy 81 Crossing Dry Indian Creek With A Concrete Boardwalk Andconnecting To Keegan Ct. (Bob Williams Pkwy) With 12 Wide Concrete Trail (1,100 Lf). This Work Includes Storm Drainage Work, Riparian Planting, Milling And Resurface Pavement, And Restriping For Bike Sharrows. Thesecond Multi-Use Trail Is East Soule Street Trail Beginning At Emory St/Hwy 81 Providing A Safe Passage To Palmer Stone Elementary School And Residences To The Future Trail Network At Catova Creek (2,000 Lf) With A10 Wide Concrete Trail. The Work Includes Pavement Demolition, Sidewalks, Curb & Gutter, Utility Relocations And Milling And Resurface Roadway Pavement. Other Improvements Include Storm Drain Installation, Mill Andinlay Of Pavement, Signing And Marking, Landscaping, And Lighting. This Itb Includes Complete Bidders Instructions And A Detailed Scope Of Work.
