The Clarke County School District (¿Ccsd¿ Or ¿The District¿) Is Soliciting Proposals From Qualified Firms To Provide A Turnkey Installation Of A 12-Strand, 50-Micron Multimode Om4 Fiber-Optic Connection Between Two Buildings Located On Private Company Property. The Proposed Pathway Traverses An Asphalt Parking Lot.The Selected Vendor Shall Be Responsible For All Aspects Of The Project, Including, But Not Limited To, Private Utility Locating, Pathway Construction, Fiber-Optic Installation, Termination, Testing, And Complete Site Restoration.This Solicitation Is Issued Under The Project Title: Fiber-Optic Connectivity Project (Transportation Bus Garage 2026). Proposals From Qualified Firms Shall Be Received By The Clarke County School District, Office Of Purchasing & Contracts, Located At 595 Prince Avenue, Athens, Georgia 30601, Until 1:00 Pm (Est) On February 12, 2026.Proposals Shall Be Submitted Electronically Via Email In Accordance With The Instructions Outlined In The Solicitation. A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference & Site Visit Will Be Held For Interested Vendors At 9:30 Am (Est) On January 27, 2026. This Conference Will Be Held At The Jim Gurley Sr. Transportation Building, Located At 165 Paradise Boulevard, Athens, Georgia 30607. No Alternate Dates Will Be Available. Prior To The Conference, Please Review The Solicitation Prior To The Meeting. The Purpose Of This Conference Is To Allow Potential Offerors An Opportunity To Present Questions And Obtain Clarification Relative To Any Facet Of This Solicitation.
