In The Coming Years, The Municipality Of Utrecht Will Be Working On The Development Of The Beurskwartier And Papendorp Areas (Including Groenewoud). This Concerns New Residential Areas With Approximately 5,200 And 3,650 Homes Respectively, Including Associated Facilities. The First Buildings Are Expected To Be Completed From 2029. The Area Developments Are Both Dependent On The Realization Of Commercial And Social Real Estate, Such As Offices, Retail (Including A Supermarket), Schools And - For Papendorp - A Mobility Hub. Due To Grid Congestion, There Is No Transport Capacity Available For These (Large-User) Connections. The Municipality Is Working With Stedin On A Solution For This. The Desired Solution Consists Of The Combination Of The Use Of A Congestion Reliever (Flexible Generation) In Combination With An Energy Hub To Flexibly Distribute The Contract Capacity Of The Congestion Reliever Among The Participating Parties.
