The Upcoming Construction Project Is Primarily Intended To Structurally Reflect The Transformation Of The Rosenhöhe Comprehensive School Into A School Of “Joint Learning” (Inclusion Since 2015) And Generate Corresponding Learning Areas. As Part Of The Concept Preparation For The Implementation Of The Inclusion-Related Renovation Measures, An Educational Architect (Architecture & Development Spaces) Was Hired As Part Of A Phase Zero Who Worked Significantly On The Concept For The Schools Realignment. This Concept Was Taken Into Account And Implemented In The Design And The Floor Plans Developed From It. In Connection With The Renovation Work Inside The Building Of The 4-Class Comprehensive School For Grades 5 To 10, An Energy-Efficient Renovation Of The Building Is Being Considered. Here The Thermal Insulation Of The Outer Facade Is Being Upgraded And The Windows And External Blinds Are Being Replaced. During The Renovation Work, No Classes Will Take Place In The Existing Building And The Building Will Be Completely Empty. In Order For Classes To Be Maintained, A Separate Building Application For The Construction And Operation Of The Interim School In Three Container Buildings A, B And C On The School Grounds Has Already Been Applied For And Approved. As Part Of The Renovation Work In The Existing Building, In Which The Classrooms And Additional Rooms Are Being Rearranged, The Space Available Is To Be Slightly But Functionally Expanded Into The Inner Courtyard. The Structural Expansion With Office, Lounge And Ancillary Areas Will Be Realized By Demolishing Part Of The Facade Into The Atrium. As A Second Structural Escape Route Out Of The Building, Newly Constructed Ramps From The 2Nd And 3Rd Floors Will Act As Bridges Leading Up To The Natural Terrain. The New Bridge Installation With A Stay Platform Is Intended To Serve As An Inclusion-Friendly Compensation Area (Inga) And Therefore As A Supplement To The Space Available For Occasional Outdoor Stays.
