Tenders are invited for Mentor Vocational Training Program Deadline Tuesday, 27. Jan 2026 Background Farah Social Foundation is implementing a vocational training (VT) program targeting youth aged 1525 years. Upon completion of the training, participants will receive business kits to support entrepreneurship or self-employment. To ensure their sustained success, mentors will provide follow-up guidance, support, and monitoring after the training. Objective of the Assignment The mentor will provide coaching, guidance, and employability support to VT participants, ensuring they are able to implement the skills learned, utilize business kits effectively, and transition into employment or self-employment. Scope of Work The mentor will be responsible for: Providing 6 individual mentorship sessions to each of the 75 VT participants. Supporting participants in using their business kits effectively. Monitoring participants progress in applying vocational skills. Assessing participants employability, business readiness, and performance 6 months after training completion. Reporting key progress, challenges, and recommendations to the Project Manager. Providing guidance on problem-solving, business planning, and professional growth. Mentorship Structure Target group: 75 VT graduates Number of sessions: 6 per individual Session format: In-person or virtual, as agreed with the project team Duration: Flexible, spread over 6 months post-training Focus areas: Business implementation, employability, skill application, problem-solving, and professional guidance Deliverables The mentor is expected to deliver: Mentorship session plans and schedules. Attendance and progress records for each participant. Mid-term progress report summarizing participant engagement, challenges, and solutions. Final report on participants employability, business performance, and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications & Experience The mentor must have: Experience in vocational training, business coaching, or entrepreneurship support. Strong knowledge of small business development and youth employability. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to guide youth from diverse and vulnerable backgrounds. Experience in monitoring, evaluation, or impact assessment is an asset. Payment Terms Payment will be based on actual mentorship sessions delivered. Payments will be released upon submission and approval of deliverables, including reports and attendance sheets. Ethical, Safety & Safeguarding Requirements The mentor must comply with Farah Social Foundations Code of Conduct, PSEA, and safeguarding policies at all times.
