Expression of Interest for Lebanon Airports PPP Project - Legal Consultant The Government of Lebanon aims to competitively procure a private operator to (i) enhance operational efficiencies and expand, finance, operate, and maintain Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) and (ii) undertake phased conversion and development and O&M of Rene Mouawad Airport (KYE) in Qlayaat under a long-term bundled PPP contract (Project). GoL has approached International Finance Corporation ("IFC) to act as lead advisor to assist in structuring and tendering the Project. IFC intends to retain a Legal Consulting Firm (the Consultant) with experience in airport infrastructure PPPs to assist IFC in structuring and tendering the Project. The Consultant will undertake a comprehensive due diligence covering all legal issues relevant to the Project and prepare a detailed legal due diligence report and tender documents, as well as assist IFC in the implementation of the tender process.
